Recession Update...

So an update from me is long overdue.I missed my fellow bloggers....gbabeski.
Omo,it hasn't been easy.Corporate America is Bitch.No mercy nada; i was laid off.Kpom
My family has been really supportive.Ha esp my mum...Love dat Woman...Everyone keeps checking up on me;Phone calls,visits.lol like say i be wan commit suicide.

I might be moving back to New York dis summer..Ha Big apple here i come(My bestie lives in Jersey...We both super duper excited)...And i got a prospective gentleman in New York...Hahaha He changed my view about New York...**To enjoy NEW YORK,Pls don't hang out with razzoids o...eh eh na so so Owambe una go dey attend..Wasiu,Solek style...U need to hang out with the posh,tush people...Se u get?.**anyway, he asked me one day"Kabi,why dont u move back to New York...since the only reason for u being in DC(job) is no more....Hmmm i haven't given an answer yet but,am seriously considering NY.Quick gist,when i lived in new york back in '04,damn it was like the razziest,dirtiest,ungodly..(abeg borrow more words) state ever....Had my fair share subway drama..phew.

So am now into business o..Lol buyig n selling(Onistsha style).. Started my own online store (Naija Fashionista);So yall on facebook..Show the sista some luv by joining(haba,u already joined like 15 groups,so dis one wont hurt ur facebook rep.Just join and browse thru..Feedback appreciated...

I am addicted to naija wedding websites lately mehn....Lol some people dont wanna admit they met online..like common yall,dis is 2009..whats wrong with meeting ur spouse online? Ha!
On a brighter note:To all the ladies out there,yall cant be single n sit in the house and expect Mr right..Mr gorgeous to show up at ur door.Go out there and have so fun...Meet people and network!!! U never can tell who knows who...

Friends Or Foes???

I would love to touch basis on friendship.

Who do you call " friend"?I will tell you...It is someone with whom you dare to be yourself."someone who is gonna have ur back no matter what.But to my surprise in our world today.Friends are people that you think are your friends.But they're really your enemies, with secret identities and disguises, to hide their true colors.

So just when you think you're close enough to be brothers/sisters they come back and cut your throat when you arent looking. Its a shame how friendship has taken turns in peoples life.For me,i think "Friends are just enemies who don't have enough guts to kill you.They are like roses..you have to look out for the thorns!

They do things that would shock you beyond doubts.They forget friendship is delicate as a glass, once broken it can be fixed but there will always be cracks".But how do we live through life without friends?I wonder...

The way i think friendship should be....If i call u my friend... am having ur back to the end...even when ur not there...even when u r wrong(am not gonna diss u infront pple...not gonna be a sellout).I would hold it down for you to the end.Gba O!!!

I would never apologize for pursuing what makes me happy. Even if i need to quit my job, transfer schools, or move across country, I would always do what me really want. I would never apologize for giving my best in a relationship that just didn't work out. Dont expect me to apologize for crying. All hail to my Mac plush waterproof mascara ...It gives my the chance to express yourself. Never apologize for treating yourself to something special. Sometimes you have to show yourself some appreciation. Never apologize for leaving an abusive relationship. Omo u too fly for a Nigga to be punching you..Your safety should always be priority.Aiye kan lowa!!! Never apologize for setting high standards in a relationship. You know what you can tolerate and what simply gets on your nerves.Dont come at me with that Naija Babes are dis and Dat BS... Why do i need yo apologize for wearing a weave or braids. I paid for the hair,so yea...it's mine Abeg Never apologize for demanding respect. You are to always be treated as a queen. Never apologize for your taste in clothes. It's your style.I have the right to express myself...I have my Tom-boy side...So get with it... Never apologize for making a decision from your heart, even if others don't agree.
